AIM: To establish and maintain a precise relationships between permanent geodetic observation sites across the region to provide a base on which to build a homogeneous Spatial Data Infrastructure for the Asia and the Pacific region.

RESPONSIBILITY: Australia will manage the project, with close cooperation from China and Japan.

DESIGN: A data acquisition campaign in October 1997, incorporating:

VLBI
SLR
GPS
DORIS
PRARE
Absolute Gravity sites

The non-VLBI data would be assembled in Australia and distributed on CD-ROM to participating countries for individual processing and combined analysis
